Hello 2013, I'm welcoming you with open ears.... My musical ears are open and ready! Thanks to my favorite musical blog ThisisRNB I ran into TSoul.... He just AMAZING to say the least! I loved the video they posted "Best of Me" (Check it out after the jump), but what really stuck out was a video posted on TSoul's twitter, a cover of him and my other fave Anhalya doing "Nobody's Business" by Chris Brown & Rihanna. It is the most ingenious cover I have ever heard! Check it out!
First up, we have Sevyn Streeter. Sevyn is a singer/songwriter that is signed to CBE/Atlantic records and has the backing of Chris Brown. She dropped the video and itunes single for "I Like it"
Next, we have veteren in the music biz via Glee, Amber Riley. Amber teamed up with Eric Bellinger for the duet "Never Be Lonely" which samples Janet Jackson's "I Get So Lonely". If this is any indication of what to be expected of her debut album, which is being execute produced by PJ Morton, then I'm excited def one to watch for in 2013.
Last, but currently not least we have Real T@lk. Real T@lk drops a video off his amazing ep; "Keep Going" is def a video worth all the hype and attention. Check it out below:
Finally! Although the Agápē isn'tset to come out until Thursday of this week, but JoJo has blessed us with the stream of her new project. JoJo has truly grown into an artist and the growth has def paid off. The tape opens with a track that explains and explores how she feels about her musical journey. This tape is def worth the listen. Stream Below:
Newcomer, Elijah Blake, drops his ep "Bijoux 22" and I must say its dope. The ep features production from my FAVE, No I.D. You may remember him from the feature on Rick Ross's Presidential track. Elijah is already an established songwriter; he may have wrote for your fave lol. Check out his ep below!
